Experience

Joined NIA as Faculty Member on 24^th April, 2023 on elevation to the cadre of Executive Director.

Sri Roy had started his career in LIC as a Direct Recruit AAO of the 17^th Batch on 18^th September, 1989.

Working across 4 Zones, he has had exposure in various fields ranging from the erstwhile DP (later, recoined as IT) spanning across 10 years [from PG-I to Manager] to Marketing Exposure in Conventional, P&GS and Mutual Fund for a period of 13 years. He was Senior Divisional Manager of Kolhapur Division under Western Zone. He has had a stint as Faculty Member in ZTC, Akurdi, too. From Training, he was moved to CRM in Western Zone [as Secy (PS)] and East Central Zone [as RM (CRM/Claims/ Annuities)] before being moved to Central Office as Chief-Investment (Mid Office) in May, 2022 from where he has stepped into NIA.
