Background:
The success of bancassurance depends on well
coordinated and collaborative partnership between the banks and insurance
companies, complementing each other’s strength and opportunities in meeting
their interrelated market needs. This means that both the insurers and bank
officials need to understand the dynamics of banking and insurance business and
the requirements of bank customers, which would help in aligning the insurance
products to the bank business and their customer needs. Secondly, providing
better product and service support along with personalised relationships with
bank officials and customers help insures leverage for higher penetration and
sustainability. These two days workshop would help insurance executives
