P715 – PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN LEADERS IN INSURANCE (NON-LIFE)

 Background:

The career advancement of women leaders is a top organizational priority. Researches have indicated that gender diversity at top and senior level positively impacts organizational effectiveness and financial success apart from other positive outcomes.

 Therefore, there is a need to bring senior women officers/executives working in Insurance Industry together and provide them a developmental opportunity. Moreover, it is also important to rechristen the role of women leaders’ in changing business dynamics.

 Learning Objectives:

Ø  To provide research based inputs in women leadership to enhance conceptual understanding on successful women leadership behaviour.

Ø  To share inputs based on practical experiences to support career advancement of women in Insurance Industry.

Ø  To extend networking and development platform to women leaders in top and senior positions working in Insurance Industry.

Ø  To initiate a dialogue on Women Leadership in Insurance Industry.

Programme Design and Contents:

The Women Leadership Programme will be conducted for same cohort in two phases. Phase I will be conducted at NIA, Pune and Phase II will be Outbound Training.

Phase II:  Living an Inspired Life (Outbound Training)

The outbound training will help women leaders to develop deeper understanding of self and others, and will equip them to take on challenges associated with higher positions.

Participant Profile:

·         Women Mangers -Scale IV and above from Public Sector Non-Life Companies

·         Senior and Middle Level Women Executives from Private Sector Non-Life Insurance Companies
