Background:

Insurance Industry plays a very significant developmental role in financial markets considering the size of Investments that are done by them.  A thorough knowledge of the financial markets is necessary to make sound financial decisions and ultimately achieve individual ‘financial well-being' is increasingly being recognized as an essential life skill.

Programme  Objectives:

This program is intended to familiarise the participants with the functioning of various segments of the financial markets as well as the related regulations thereof.  The programme shall provide inputs on overall financial markets of the country thereby providing the participants an opportunity of enhancing their knowledge and thus their effectiveness on financial matters.

 Participants Profile:  

 Officers in the cadres of AO and ADMs having residual service of minimum 10 years.

Officers working in BOs/DOs/Zos to be nominated by HRD department of Zonal Offices.

Officers working in Central Office to be nominated by CO HRD as per recommendations of concerned CO HOD.
