Academic Infrastructure

There are eight lecture halls equipped with computer, cordless mike systems and OHP/LCD projectors. In addition, there are eight syndicate rooms to facilitate group discussions, case studies presentations and deliberations.

Auditorium

NIA also has a best in class auditorium with a seating capacity of 220 viz. “Luray Caverns”. It also houses servicing rooms and a theatre sized LCD panel screen.

Hostel

The students hostel “Sarvapalli” has around 135 fully furnished rooms with a dining hall “ADOP”.

Bank and post facilities

Bank of Maharashtra and NIA post office are located near the main gate of the campus for banking (forex services also available) and postal needs (Courier services also available).

Regular bus service

NIA runs regular bus service for its members from campus to main city.

Jogging track and GIC pathway

The 1.5 Kms jogging track encircling the campus is a wonderful way to breathe fresh air and hear chirping of birds. The GIC pathway close to sporting complex is a water-fed pathway with gravel for acupressure therapy.

Sports and recreation

The multipurpose sporting complex has facilities for badminton, table tennis, swimming, billiards, basket ball, state-of-the-art gymnasium, sauna, jacuzzi. There is a mini golf course and flood lit playing field for cricket and football too.

Computer centre and Wi-Fi

NIA has a Windows based LAN, connected to 400 Pentium terminals spread all over the establishments. The academy has 3 classrooms for IT training having 120 terminals offering facilities like electronic mail, internet browsing. Wi-Fi facilities are available around the academic block.

Mowgli Table

These are numerous covered and lit round tables around the campus which could make for an interesting conversation or intriguing discussion.

Dr. Kotnis Clinic

NIA also has a clinic with an experienced practitioner Dr. Mullah to treat the students and campus residents during ailments and emergencies. 

NIA Library

NIA Library is fully equipped quench the thirst for knowledge of the future leaders of the Insurance Industry. It is one of the finest libraries in India having the choicest collection of books both in life and non-life insurance areas. The main goal of this library is to cater to all types of information needs of the users with respect to insurance and allied subjects. The reading room of this library boasts of almost all national and international journals in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Pensions and related areas including journals for general awareness and entertainment. A variety of the research publications add further value to this already rich knowledge bank.
